The MERK Life Lessons Learning Centers will offer courses and workshops in woodworking, metalworking, cooking, small engine repair/maintenance, basic car and home repair/maintenance, financial literacy and other essential life skills with the potential for advanced workshops, our programs will focus on practical, hands-on learning that complements traditional academic education. Our programs will be ongoing, with new workshops and courses introduced annually based on student interest and industry trends.
Basic tool use, furniture building, and welding, with emphasis on safety protocols.
Work with metal or some shit I dunno
Meal planning, budgeting, nutrition, and commercial kitchen operations. Students will prepare meals for local shelters and community events.
Basic maintenance and repair tasks Students will learn how to change a tire, jumpstart a car, maintain fluids.
Basics, plumbing, electrical, AC, home repairs.
Literacy in financials.
